I began my career as a pastry chef in 1996.  In 2002,  I decided to hang up my apron strings to pursue a new challenge, apprenticing myself to the family business of watch and clock repair with my step-father, Ron Hoddinott.

I completed my apprenticeship under Ron's guidance at Taringa Watchmakers and Jewellers which later became The Terraces Watch and Clock shop in Paddington.

Since then I’ve completed repairs and restorations with the oldest clock I have worked on being circa early 1700's.  I find clocks fascinating and appreciate the connection to our past through family heirlooms or even a newly found interest in the historical relationship of a beautifully crafted timepiece.
